Lori Savage - Private Tutoring

Service Description

Mrs. Lori Savage has been part of the Lacey Township School District for over two decades. She is a proud honors graduate of Kean University who earned a degree in Elementary Education in grades K-5 and 5-8, as well as English. Mrs. Savage teaches Grade 6 English/Language Arts and Social Studies. She is honored to be part of the outstanding team of educators at Mill Pond Elementary School who are dedicated to academic excellence. She was recently named "Teacher of the Year", and proud to work beside an amazing team of inspiring teachers. Mrs. Savage has advised the Lacey Township School District's Rough Writers program, which is a program designed especially for creative writing students or for those who may want to make their writing shine. Mrs. Savage is passionate about teaching and loves to share her desire for learning with her students. She expresses to her students that in order to succeed, they must be willing to ask questions if they are unsure of something, actively read books, magazines, or just about anything that they enjoy, and keep a daily journal of their experiences. Success starts with a great foundation. A great education is the basis of one's success! As our students work toward their academic goals, it is important that we remind them that their education is something that they themselves earn and is theirs and theirs alone; one of life’s accomplishments that can NEVER be taken away!
