Hello! My name is Amanda Riker and I am currently in my 10th year of teaching. I absolutely love being a part of the Mill Pond family as a 6th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. Prior to coming to Lacey, I taught every subject to 5th graders in Brick Township for many years. I have two daughters at home, Ryann, who is 6 and Quinn, who is 4. Ryann is in 1st grade, so I know first hand how hard this year has been for our learners. I hope to help your student achieve their academic goals in any way that I can.
